"Angela"

This painting is in response to another of Karin Jurick's challenges on her blog Different Strokes From Different Folks. This time participants submitted photos of themselves for Karin to send to other artists. Each partner remained anonymous until their painting was posted.

WONDERFUL portrait, Helen! Very nice expression you captured and I really like the way you handled the background.

Hello Helen...I'm Angela, it is so nice to finally know your name. Thank you so much for painting my portrait; I love everything about it. I was wondering how you were going to interpret the mosaic background and I like your rendering of it very much. I just posted your portrait on my website tonight (waiting for your name). I would be more than happy to exchange portraits with you, if you are interested. Your pet portraits are beautiful, also and I look forward to seeing many more of your paintings.

Helen, beautiful job here! And I adore your dog portraits also, all three are fantastic. I had a golden retriever myself so I love that "Pick Me" puppy :D
